Special attention is paid to behavioral, ecological and bio-geographical distribution studies. The field of entomology dominates the studies related with biological diversity and Hymenopterans (Formicidae, Braconidae and Ichneumonidae), Lepidopterans, Odonates and Heteropterans are the main taxonomical groups studied throughout Turkey. The scientific material kept in our museum always provides free access for native and foreign researchers.
