In the Microbiology Research Laboratory, which is the laboratory no. 314 of the Department of Biology, Mycology studies are carried out by Prof. Dr. Ahmet ASAN, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burhan SEN and Phd Student Goulsoum OUZEIR. Isolation studies of mold fungi from soil samples of our TUBITAK project numbered 118Z359 and titled "Polyphasic Taxonomy of Soilborne Heat-Resistant Aspergillus Genus Members of Turkey", which is currently ongoing, are continuing in this research laboratory where the isolation, cultivation, identification and storage of mold fungi are carried out.
